Today is Giving Tuesday

The act of giving is powerful and should not be underestimated. Your giving matters – to you, the cause and the beneficiaries.

Research is a human centred endeavour, and your involvement could be key to the outcomes we achieve in the future. The eviDent Foundation connects research with clinical practice. In doing so, eviDent plays a vital role in generating new knowledge, new treatments, and research-backed evidence to compel policymakers to create health frameworks that support access for all Australians to the very best oral health care possible.

We all have gifts to give, and they don’t always have to be in the form of money.

Gift your time
As the saying goes, ‘time is money’ and this statement is incredibly accurate in the for-purpose sector. Like many, I work full time, have a family and my own personal interests. I also know that my time is a valuable contribution to eviDent’s success. Get involved in an eviDent project – it won’t take much of your time, but it will give so much.

Gift your talent
An intrinsic part of the eviDent Dental Practice Based Research Network is the talent of its members – the academics and dental practitioners who volunteer to improve treatment outcomes for patients and to address the connection between oral and general health. Become a member of the eviDent Dental Practice Based Research Network – it’s free, and you’re likely to get more in return than what you give.

Gift your treasure
The average cost of an eviDent facilitated project is just under $18,000. I understand that, particularly now, there are so many demands competing for your hard-earned dollar, and so I ask that you give what you can. Make a donation now or later.

Gift your ties
We all know someone who has the time, talent and treasure to help the eviDent Foundation thrive. Mouthguard March is only a few months away. Do you treat any well-known athletes or sports players who could become ambassadors? Introducing such people in your personal or professional network can go a long way to support the growth of the eviDent Foundation. Make an introduction by emailing .

Gift your testimony
Have you been involved with the eviDent Foundation? Have you been impacted by their work? Your story is valuable and could inspire others to give their time, treasure, ties and then, their testimony. Share your testimony on your own social media platforms and tag us @evidentfoundation, or share, comment and like posts on eviDent’s Facebook or LinkedIn pages.

Start today and make a difference with whatever you can give.
